Bands for hire seek out customers or have customers seek them out. There are bands that a person cannot expect to drop everything they are doing to perform at some minor engagement. Popular bands are not needed for the average celebratory occasion. What a person wants from any of the bands for hire in existence is quality, entertaining music. If he had a certain genre of music in mind, he will hire a band that performs that genre. Bands are often paid by the gig. They will often charge a flat fee to come out and perform.
